Will Brentwood or Hendersonville drop in rankings

we could go back and forth about who is better in high school because we havent played more than a few teams from there so it is hard to tell. the good players are always split up in high school between public and private schools so its hard to tell. Ga is better though in club due to moreso popularity than population. theyre semi-finalists in almost every age group in region 3 every year.

Also, please dont bring up the fab 50 national rankings. Science Hill was ranked pretty well at the beginning of the season and theyve proved theyre not a nationally ranked team. this is also out of somewhere from 15-22 states and they dont play each other, at least not often, so how could they tell how good a team really is? Grissom was either #7 or #17 and they lost to bga 4-1 and mccallie 3-1 within a week.

Back to the brentwood-hendersonville thread, if any team should drop it should be brentwood to the #3 spot and mcminn would go up. If hendersonville is #4 and bwood is 2, then brentwood is expected to beat them so how could they drop after getting a draw against a, according to the rankings, better team?

This thread became a TN vs. GA debate earlier when it wasn't supposed to. Here is another point in that debate. Because of the starting dates, GA schools have several weeks of games in them before TN teams play any. Most schools are much better at the end of the season than they were at the beginning. That is one of the disadvantages when comparing the two states. GA schools are in mid- to late-season form when they play TN schools, who are near the beginning of their seasons. It makes a big difference in high school soccer where you have such a short time to build chemistry and develop continuity.

Back to the real thread, someone said we should drop just because we tied hendersonville. I dont think thats how it should be. We played the #4 team to a draw and now have a record of 9-0-1. If we get dropped because we have an unbeaten record and gave up our first draw, then this system should draw comparisons to the BCS. Its totally messed up if that happens, personally I dont think it will though. I guess well all just have to wait and see.
