BA wooped up on Father Ryan beating them 7-1 with an unearned run. BA played one of the best games of the year and finally brought their bats to the game. Also 5 girls were named to the all region team. Congratulations girls and good work. You keep playing like this you will have a great run in memphis.

Yesterday Father Ryan was playing BGA in the game to see who would come in 3rd and who would go on to the championship game when they delayed the game due to rain. BGA was ahead 2-3 at the end of 6 innings. The game will resume on Monday I believe at 3:30.

why do BGA and Father Ryan finish the game from Friday...seems to me the rule is if 5 and one half are played it is a game????? Must be a Phil Davidson rule to keep playing???

BGA, Ryan and BA all will go to state. Seedings aren't that big of a deal?

In Division II all teams will have to go through Baylor anyway.

I agree with you funman. I thought if a game is called to weather or other unusual circumstances it is considered a game once 5 innings have been played.

 

i would rather go through baylor later in the week than on tuesday though!!

Haha I gurantee if the tables were turned and Father Ryan was winning the game would of been called complete. But I guess it will all pan out on Monday!!

What happened? Was the championship game stopped due to rain, and if so, what was the score?

The loser's bracket championship (BGA and Father Ryan) was called at the end of 6 innings due to rain. But the game will resume today at 4:00 for the final inning with BGA ahead 3-2 and then the winner of that game will play BA for the Regional Championship.
