Guest Oakland
ill say blackman-riverdale just for the sake of having a all boro region final
IN2VOLS
Im gonna go out on a limb, and say that Tullahoma knocks off Blackman first. Blackman is a strong team, but i just didnt see the scoring ability when we played. On the other hand, when we played Tullahoma they had 2 players in the middle that could rifle that ball on frame from just about anywhere on the field. With the Blackman backs, and Tullahoma forewards facing off, i dont see the Blackman D being able to hold. Columbia should win the Region however. tmorrissey8
I guess we will find out soon enough who will win the region but from what I have heard columbia sounds like a very strong team and shouldn't have many problems with riverdale. If blackman plays up to its potential then it should also be able to get past tullahoma. Columbia and Blackman will be a toss up. Both teams are very capable of winning and we all saw last year how columbia beat blackman at blackman to end their season in the region semis. Hopefully all teams will play well and there will be some great games.
tig020
Tullahoma will beat Blackman and Columbia should beat Riverdale. About the region champs, it'll be hard to say. I heard Tullahoma outplayed Columbia the other night, Columbia's keeper and the final score said it all! Either way, good luck to all 4 teams! chs_soccer34
I believe tullahoma outshot columbia but i wouldnt say they outplayed them. It was a pretty good, even game( which showed by going all the way to a shootout). And yes the columbia keeper played great. He definitely steps it up in the postseason. After carrying his team to the state semifinals last year he is doing the same this year making some fantastic saves. The way he has been playing the last few games I wouldnt hesitate at all to compare him with the best keepers in the state....I just hope he doesnt let my comments go to his head. soccerguy10
columbia was definitely not outplayed by tullahoma last thursday. they did outshoot columbia down the stretch but very few were actual quality shots(one shot did come back off the inside of the post tho). both teams played really well and deserved to win but tullahoma met a monster in the penalty shootout Edited May 17, 2004 by soccerguy10
