camo092
ive played since 7th grade, so i just finshed my 3rd season. I would just like to say that lax is definitely the most fun sport ive ever played! any comments?
laxdaddy
I think your right on about it being the most fun sport. In other sports like basebal and football, sometimes i hated going to practice, but with lacrosse its fun to get out there and practice. Guest BIGRUSN
i picked up a stick in the 3rd grade so i guess, you can say 9 years, but there was no place for me to play with a team until 7th grade, so ive competed for 5 years.
USNLAX
my older brother brought home a stick one day and so i started to play, then he said "your too fat to play offense you need to play defense," and thats how i got started. that was in the summer between 4th and 5th grade. i dont know if yall remember but when they used to play behind baptis hospital and at SCA and somewhere else i cant remember. TNLAX6
I started a few years after Webb got lax, I was about 10, so 8 years. Didn't compete 'til 7th grade though, I guess I was 13. Edited May 19, 2004 by TNLAX6
PleaseBallStophere
Similar story here, picked up a stick around 3rd or 4th grade and when i got to middle school my friends said,"hey you don't like running, you should be a goalie." From then on i competed and I'm in 10th now.
Imrightyourewrong
4 years I guess. Played halfway throught my 8th grade year because I tore up my shoulder and had to quit baseball. Then sat out and didn't plan on playing in high school until one of the coaches, who is a family friend, got me to come back. I joined about two weeks late in the winter practices. Have to say I think I made the right choice.
