Looks like just about everyone expects CAK to pull off the win. Reminds me of last year when everyone thought LC would beat CAK in the region championship. Lenoir City has nothing to lose in this game since nobody believes they will win. That makes LC a very dangerous team, more than capable of beating CAK. But with all that said, CAK is too solid across their lineup. They should win by 2 or 3.

I believe GKBD15 plays for CAK... if I'm not mistaken. Maybe even backup keeper is what he said. Should be a very intense game tonight. I think deciding factor will be who wants it more.

i just hope this game is half as good as the region championship last year. i think it will close but im hoping cak will come out on top. then we can all go to state together as a happy family.

LC wins 2-1. Two first half goals from James Lacy were enough to seal the win. A late PK goal from Bowman made it interesting. CAK is a heck of a team. My hats off to them.

Well done boys. I knew LC was coming after CAK. Great game played by both teams. With 2 goals from James Lacy in the first half was enought to win the game 2-1! LC has alot more talent than they are given credit for and so does CAK.

 

And yes...the LC pulled this one off with a smile

If LC, CAK, CCS, and FRA all win their sectionals games, they will meet in the first round. We (CCS) lost in overtime to CSAS after having a 2-0 lead, and as a result, if we win our sectional game we will play LC. FRA and CAK are also set to play in the first round if they both make it there as well. Too bad the bracket is off again, but I guess you've got to beat the best to be the best. What a cool phrase....

Well at least this year no one team has an easy route to the title game. Whichever teams get there will definately have earned it.
