I thought Greeneville did a pretty good job slowing down the "scoring" machine that has had over 60 homeruns this year. If the throw from the third baseman on the 2-out, bases loaded, squeeze in the fourth is not wide of home, they are out of the inning only trailing 4-1 instead of 6-1. The Greene Devils hopefully showed that they can play with the big boys, especially since Farragut has more try out for baseball than Greeneville has in their whole senior class. Great year Greeneville and yes, good luck to Farragut in the state tournament.

As some of you know, I'll be out of touch for the next couple of weeks chasing elephants, whales, and great white sharks.

 

Soup and AdDad25, I'll catch up with ya'll in a couple of weeks.

 

It's been fun. I'm envious that I can't watch my son play in the Fling, but I'm happy for those who get the chance. Enjoy it.
