Who are the "Sleeper" teams?

Which teams, that no one gives a chance at winning the Championship could surprize everyone?

I am sure some will give Lipscomb a chance in AA but they would be my sleeper pick. Not many are picking them as their favorite. The way they have been winning games recently makes it seem like it is meant to be.

I think Unaka has a chance of suprising us, just like they did in basketball.

Hunters Lane out of AAA. I bet the majority of the fans out there think they will be out after the first 2 games....

farragut could go two and out if they dont show up to play...the rings wont be given to them...whoever wins the championship will have to come out and play, not just show up and expect to win

Colliersville is my sleeper's pick. even though at #2 in the Tourney for class AAA anybody but Farragut would be a big upset. if anyone could do it they could. as to redbaron picking hunter's lane. they might not be two and out but don't look to go no farther than 3 games.

Farragut's nothing like a sleeper teaml, they are pretty much set for the next 47 years

Montgomery Central is a huge sleeper team...watch out for the Indians.

Unaka has a very capable left-hander in Swearengin; He and Rusty Chambers were all-state last year. Blevins is a good right-hander and McInturff another good lefty. Chad Lewis is outstanding at shortstop and has signed with King College.

 

They've been killing the baseball of late. Their schedule has been tough with Sulllivan East, Unicoi County, Happy Valley, Tennessee High, Rockwood, etc.

 

The fact that Unaka was there last year, and returns their entire team (lost one player to graduation) is encouraging. Errors and Pitching; isn't that almost always what it boils down to?

 

GOOD LUCK TO ALL PARTICIPANTS. If every player on every team conducts themselves like we saw in the Basketball tournament, everyone there is in for a wonderful treat.

eagleballa looks like a genious right now since Montgomery Central won its first two state tourny games. talented team with a real baseball guy and coach in Coach Dunn. good luck indians
