Mike Anderson (assistant coach @ MBA) is a great coach that should be the head coach. He knows so much more baseball than most head coaches it's not even close.

randy harrell would have won in munford in 91 he left for lambuth after 90 leaving 10 returning seniors on a team that went 32-2 in 90. rodney patterson steped in and won the title in 91

a.c. williams (retired from ridgeway) never won a state title with a 500-200 record. came close in 2003 with a 3rd place finish.

Oakland, I'd definately agree. Mark Purvis from Mt. Juliet and Mike Hendrix from Hendersonville have built some excellent programs. (Not sure about Purvis but Hendrix has almost run the cycle @ state: 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, but still trying for that elusive state champ title.)

I'm sure that all those coaches are very good but Coach Bassham from Mt. Pleasant has to be in there some where, always has a solid team even when they don't go to state. I think this year was his last to coach MP but he sure was a good one.
