Thats interesting about the Washington State comment. I know you didn't make the comment Gomab, only repeated it. I remember when the kid from Bolton Fred Peete? decided to transfer from Memphis to Washington State with his former coach. He was the star of stars up there. Definitely a first team all state player which is amazing because in Memphis, TN he was probably only a Honorable Mention selection within the city itself! I don't think they have the athletes up there that we have in the city, much less the state of TN.

What about Puckett at McEwen? Is he legit or is this some hype based on a couple of decent games?

As a NCS basketball fan I can vouch for Daniel Puckett. He single handedly kept his team in games last season. He had to play point at times because no one else could get the ball down court. If he was surrounded by better players he would be ranked even higher. I remember one game against Harpeth last season where he dunked un Murry St signee Dansby 3 times. I'm thinking 2005 1A mr basketball.

Little has had a great Reebok ABCD camp... We played against him a few weeks ago, and came away very unimpressed. Little is a 6'5 Power Forward with no range past 5 ft... Little is an AMAZING athlete, but very limited to what he can do on the court (Dunks, Layups, Dunks)...

Congrats to Little on his Performance at ABCD!!!

I have been told by a coaching friend that if they don't play for you they are not top notch!!! What is your back ground in this sport of basketball? Do you just love the game? Who pays your bills ? What classes are your aau players in next year? What are their G.P.A. ? Have they passed the A.C.T. ? Know one cares how much you know until they know how much you care!!!

    • Harriman was better than what I anticipated. They had good skill guys and a QB that’s gonna make a lot of teams look silly. They had some silly pre snap penalties but it’s just spring and I guess that’s expected.    Oneida looks the part. They are big upfront and got a stable of backs that’s gonna carry them this year. They have a few playmakers at receiver also. They have a new receiver that has only played basketball till this year and he is very athletic. The question is can we find a QB to consistently get them the ball. They played 2-3 kids there and none looked great but they didn’t look awful either. The  defense is gonna be tough again but it’s very early and a lot can change between now and the fall.     It was good just to get out and watch some ball. I don’t know if Oneida has the team to win the region this year but just what I saw tonight I think they may be in the conversation come November.
    • Interesting read in the fish wrap about why the baseball coach quit. No help with administrative duties. IMO Not a good look for the administration, especially the AD. What in tarnation is going on up there?
