Why are all of you talking about all those eastern schools when the west has 10 of the top 20 in our area. I mean why dont you all talk about the two East High guys or the Michael Oher at Briarcrest or Justin Sparks at Briarcrest ( who has been kicking 55 yards consistenly over the summer). Michael has about 15 colleges looking at him and Justin can go wherever he wants. You all waste so much of your time talking about the wrong people.

Can the #1 team in the state not get any love by having atleast one player representing us on the top 20. Dave Thomas, Rahmel Oliver, and Chris Perkins are all worthy candidates.

and LAMON WILLIAMS should definatley be on this list, and yes i definatley remember when Lamon and the boys from DB came down the Reservation for the playoff game. Lamon was awesome, im just glad we came out on top

and Travis Sykes, he is bad.

and someone please take Marcelous off the list now, all 5 of these guys i just named are better than him.

The recruiting lists go by what schools are showing real interest, and by what they can measure, height, weight, 40-times and so on. The lists are usually revised sometimes on attitude and such. The highest rated guys are usually the ones that have the most real interest from top 10 or 20 schools. It's not an exact science, I remember Phillip Rivers from NC State, now Chargers rated as the #50 QB in the country his senior year but they're right more than wrong. When a high rated prospect doesn't produce it's usually his own fault because of poor decisions (bahvior, schoolwork) or injuries, not because the talent isn't there.

If you had Albert Harris on your team you probably wouldn't need a kicker.

So are you saying that Albert Harris is going to be better than Jamal Lewis, Travis Henry, and Travis Stevens?

All 3 of those guys were RB's on UT's roster when UT won the 1998 NC. It was Jeff Hall who made the winning kick against Cuse. It was Jeff Hall who made the OT FG against Florida.

Think of how many NC's FSU would have if it wasn't for bad kicks against Miami. They even have a history of good RB's in Greg Jones, Warrick Dunn, and Travis Minor.

Riverdale[/url'>06' date='Jul 21 2004 - 09:52 PM']I hate missed FG's!! Especially when we coulda won or tied the game if we made em'. I go to Riverdale and thats what cost us some of our games. In the 2003 Blue Cross Bowl against Germantown Tyler Campbell missed a 21 yard FG and if we would have made the FG we could have end up tying the game cuz we only lost 10-7 soo just think what that extra 3pts. coulda done for us! In 2002 his brother Brian Campbell missed 2 FG's in the Blue Cross Bowl against Brentwood one of the FG's being 23yds. and then again we only lost by 3pts. 10-7 so think what 6pts. woulda done for us cuz we would have won cuz if he would have made both it would be 10-13 not 10-7. Also in 2002, Brian Campbell missed a 34yd. FG at Lincoln County with 19 seconds on the clock and we lost 10-9 so if he would have made that FG we would have won.

And who helped G-Town beat Riverdale? Yep the kicker.... if the kicker wasn't any good than Riverdale would've won 7-6. Yes the kicker accounted for 4 of G-Town's points. He helped to make the difference with his extra point and FG.

I did not see that game so I don't know much about it but why blame it all on the kicker? Why didn't Riverdale score a TD instead of having the kicker attempting a FG? Why did Riverdale only score one TD? Why did Riverdale's defense give up a TD and enough yards for the kicker to line up for the FG for G-Town?

I guess riverdale's offense didn't have any TO's...heck I guess it was the kicker's fault wasn't it?
