well...u better look out for alcoa, they have a lot of talent and discipline. Maryville and Central always have a good season and its even better when they match up...im lookin forward to that game...riverdale looks like their going to have another great season...and greeneville could make a run in AAAA. This should be another exciting season of tennessee football

If you're thinking College I would say Mississippi State. Coach Croom is turning that school into something special. NOw if you're thinking High School I would say Austin East Magnet High School in Knoxville, TN. Coach Stevens and his staff has the boys willing to work together and achieve something the 2001 team accomplish. Watchout for the Roadrunners from AE.

Game to come and watch: I'll say the AE at Fulton game September 3rd would be a great game to come and see.

I can vouch for JohnDeere b/c McMinn played Alcoa n a scrimmage a while back and they gave us all we could handle and then some. Although our team is young and has a lot of question marks after losing 15 starters off last years squad and it is still very early, Alcoa seemed to have some talent and a chance to have a succesful season.

how many seniors did alcoa lose last year cause i no they were a year team and matured ALOT from the start of last year to the end. it surprised me alot how bad they beat us at the end of last season (OS). i knew it would be a heck of a game but i didnt think they would be that matured. lookin good guys

roadrunner, i'm just curious, are you a bulldawg fan? i grew up in mississippi and i've stuck by my dawgs even through their worst seasons. you're right, expect big things from them in the next few years because croom is doing some special things there from what i hear. they need discipline in the worst way.

    • Eubanks and the boys will be ready.
    • Just think it could be West, Alcoa, plus one more. Could doesn’t mean it will
    • It’s a small town and they are in the same school system. People talk and can pull up records on their personal devices.
    • Sorry Barn. I wasn’t specific enough. It seems I’m always protecting the principal at 825. My interactions with her have been extremely positive, but very limited. With all the other stories being told, I’m confident there are other sides I am not aware of. Regardless, there are lots of decent people earning good checks up there. Maybe too good, which explains why no one is willing to speak up. My beef is with the poor communication among the athletic programs and with the administration. Seven years ago the poor communication led to my son missing graduation due to a sporting event that was planned months before. I chalked it up to the system being totally shocked that the baseball team made it out of their district, and our then AD was a football coach. Maybe they were surprised and did not plan appropriately. That was more palatable than they just didn’t give a crap. Déjà vu, seven years later, same thing. Different administration, but same result.  Maybe in seven more years, it will actually be “about the kids”. They should do better.
