Biggest Offseason Loss

Titans lost a lot of familiar names this offseason- who do you guys think they will miss the most..and why?

The Freak...no doubt. Big part of the defensive line. Always a threat.

I think Robaire Smith is the biggest loss. Kearse was a terrible run stopper and was always hurt. Mcareins is a close second to Smith. But the Mcareins trade was pretty equal. I dont think Whycheck will be missed at all, neither will Eddie.

I have to go with Robair Smith also as NCS03 said Kearse has been hurt and has contributed all that much the past two years. Wycheck's leadership in the locker room will be missed more than his on field help the past couple of years do to concussions and if Ben Troupe can settle in and learn a little pass blocking just to keep the teams off balance knowing that if he is on the sideline they will be running the TE position will be a big advantage!

 

If Calico can learn to finally catch the easy ones and becomes what everyone thinks he can like being another Owens or Moss with his size just hope thats on the field comparison especially in Moss's case then McCarions want be missed!

you make it sound like calico has brick hands. calico's only problem is consistency, which will come with experience, people hyped him up way too much last year because they saw what he could be with 6-4 frame and 4.4 speed, just give the man time and he will be a great one for the titans

Robaire Smith followed by Justin. Callico has yet to impress me this week at camp... got a big moan from the crowd today when he, you guessed it, dropped a pass that should have been easily caught. We'll just have to see how well he does. Hasn't won me over yet.

oakland, make that 4.3 speed. Calico is playing mind games with himself. It makes no sense how someone can consistently make acrobatic catches and consistently drop balls that hits him in his numbers.

I agree Robaire was a great player and will be missed, but the Titans have always replaced DT's with ease ( see: Jason Fisk, John Thornton, Henry Ford ). So I voted for Justin, he was a talented receiver on the upswing in his career, and with Eddie gone, and the offense more centered around McNair, I think him losing one of his main weapons could hurt a lot.

7059, the offense was centered around McNair for the last three years. McNair did fine with a non productive Kevin Dyson and a tightend, so I'm sure he will be fine with Mason, Bennett, Calico, Troupe, Kinney, and whoever else might step up.

Very true. McNair is the main attraction all in all. The receivers are the supporting cast, lol.
