I've never seen Stevens, I hear he's good. This Parkinson kid is decent. He could use a trip to the weight room. I think his game is greatly effected by the fact that his driver weighs more than he does. In all honesty, I have no idea how he totes that golf bag anywhere. He might could squat his sand wedge and bench his putter. But apparently, he finds a way to get the job done, so more power to him.

I've already posted earlier the two best players in the state..Clarksville's Ryne Fisher and James Brannen. Brannen has already committed to UT with Fisher looking at Kentucky, Miss St, Missouri, Memphis, MTSU, and Austin Peay. These two young men, one a state title when they were sophmores as a team, James one the Individual Class AAA title as a JR and both should finish thier SR year out on a good note.

    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
