Everyone is crazy for not mentioning Adam Mitchell. He is the best junior golfer in the state and not one can touch him. He shot 60 at the Bubba Conlee outside of Memphis this summer and he can not be touched. He will dominate this year and he has committed to play golf at the University of Georgia. He will be the best male golfer this year.

Josh Simer of Bolivar Central High is the best golfer in west tennessee

Adam Mitchell is definitely not the best golfer in the state. Eventhough he is a decent golfer, no one can top Big Bobby Baird from Webb or Wes Roach. Both of them kill Mitchell and whoever else.

If that is so then why did Mitchell wax Barid and Roach as i read in the paper when McCallie played Webb eventually beating them by eight shots. Mitchell shot 69 compared to their both 75's.

And if that is so why did Mitchell wax them at their home course. Mitchell also qualified for the US Amateur at 17 no one from Tennesse has done that at his age in the past 10 years if not longer.

Where was Mitchell at the State Junior. That is the tourny where all the top juniors all over the state come and play and Mitchell was not a top the leaderboard if i recall correctly. Roach finished 3rd after a dissapointing 2nd and 3rd round, he easily could have taken it.
