Division 1 Prospects

Tennessee seems to be producing some stud talent and that seems no more noticeable that in the offensive line. From West Tennessee to East Tennessee there are some good big men with a great shot to play Division 1 Football and here they are.

One of the Top Offensive Lineman in the Country as well as the top in the state. Huge and great speed with it. The total Package. I say he'll end up at UT.

 

Joseph Birdsong---------------6'4------275----------MBA

A good Offensive lineman with offers already. Vandy and Virginia seem to be the top two.

 

Jeff Cottam--------------------6'7-------255----------Germantown

A UT lock but hasn't verbaled but if he doesn't commit to UT, I would be shocked, He has State Championship ring on his finger.

 

Zane Bruhin--------------------6'6------315----------Powell

Dad played at UT. Will they offer?? Teammate is going to Alabama.

 

Paul Edwards-------------------6'6-------296---------McKenzie

Several offers including Vandy, Memphis, and Arkansas and is leaning toward Arkansas last I heard.

 

Malcolm Rawls------------------6'4-------303--------Memphis East

A physical specimen with a list of offers including UT.

 

Garrett Reynolds----------------6'7------255---------Carter

Tall kid with offers already from Vandy and Georgia Tech. Can Vandy lure another Knoxville Product to Nashville.

Great Camps which upped his stock but just a little Short. Don't be suprised if he goes D-1 though.

BIG kid I mean BIG kid who is getting lots of interest from guess who? Vandy and Ole Miss has shown alot as well.

Named a Top 10 Prospect in TN by Rocky Top News.

 

Eric Hensley----------------------6'5--------287--------Clinton

Big Ole East Tennessee Boy who could get an offer.

 

Nick Forte-------------------------6'2--------275--------BA

Strong as an OX and is a good wrestler. Could make a fine offensive lineman for someone.

 

Mark Thompson------------------6'4--------288--------DCA

Hard for 1A boys to get noticed but how could you miss this one. A big Kid on a team that was runner-up last year on a Junior dominated Football Team.

 

Jamie Wolf-----------------------6'3--------287--------Centennial

A kid with Great upside. He is a player.

 

Ben Jackson---------------------6'5--------300--------Brentwood

Prototypical size of an offensive lineman who has a good shot to play big-time ball.

 

Jeremy Walley-------------------6'3--------260--------Briarcrest Christian

A sleeper but getting interest from Vandy and Tennessee Tech to name a couple. Probably D-1AA but possible D-1 kid.

 

You can see that the big men have talent this year.

The big guy from Gallatin would be one of my top picks. I here that Riverdale has some good linemen this year too.
