MP football

just wondering what everyone has to say about the new MP era and what are the chances of going to state. They have a great team but are they good enough for the power houses like CPA and EH.

I was at the scrimmage in maury county when MP(A) played Spring Hill(AAAA) and i was really excited to see the discipline the tiger team had. They won a overall dominant game 13-0 (1 half of play). #81, the RB, and # 5 are really talented with the ball. I believe they have other playmakers that i didn't catch but all will be revealed.

Yes Mp has the talent to make a state run. So does a lot of teams in the state. Lets just take it one game at a time, and only time will tell about a State Championship!

Mt. Pleasant is a very talented team. They did defeat Spring Hill, which is 4A, but a very poor 4A team. They have the talent to make noise in the playoffs, but they are not yet to the level of Boyd, and CPA.

81 is talented, eh? dir thats just jamarcus webster who is being recruited all over the place. . he was also all state... defense .......and offense.. ... very very talented

From the look of the MP middle school team the future looks good for the HS team. Its nice to be able to talk about going to the state championship game,but if they do it will be like the baseball team and have to play a privomit school with their unrecruited recruited players. MP's success depend on the players you don't her much about and how hard they work, I hope they can win the region and get through 2 rounds of the playoffs. That would be a real good year.

I doubt Goodpasture recruited any of there players. They are a bit bigger(meaning the student body) than MP but thats about all they had on them. But back to football I'd say the middle school always has a good team, well as far as i can remember. Is coach Bassham coaching it this year?

MP scrimmaged Giles co. this evening the MP 1st team beat Giles's 1st team 35-13. Giles 2's scored twice on MP's 2's, I don't think MP's 2's scored.

GCHS held their own, even dominating in some spots. It wasn't 35-13 on first team. It was like 21-13 for 1st team with GCHS winning 27-21 overall.

Your crazey ,you must have missed math class alot. I kept score in my little note book and I know how to count. OK, Giles did do well at the hotdog eating after the game.

They have a lot of playmakers but won't need them this week. I hope ZCA can give them a good show but i don't see it happening. We'll have to wait a week before we see what they really have.
