I am not sure how good my sources are, but Midway scrimmaged Sweetwater and supposedly beat them. Is this true? As for Midway they are a talented team. They are sure to come out and smack Rockwood in the mouth. I have heard that their defense has a nasty attitude and will out right get after you. Offensively, they are an option based team and have two running backs who get time at QB. It will be the only game around on Thursday Aug 26. Many will be out to watch. We will see if Rockwood will be ready, or if Midway will put a nasty taste in the Tigers mouth.

Rockwood by 21. Heard O'Toole was out for a while with an injury. If he was there I would say this would be Midways best chane at Rockwood since 2000 ,I think, when they had McClure and that bunch. Still would be Rockwood by 6 though.

I think that Midway CAN play with Rockwood; however, I think that Rockwood has the mind-game advantage over them. If Midway believes they can win and they don't make a lot of mistakes, I think this will be a close one. However, I think some defensive let downs will hurt the waves and Rockwood wins by 20.

Midway beat Sweetwater 30-24.

O'Toole did not play yesterday but he may play against Rockwood. He'll go to the doctor once or twice before then. I'm not going to talk about the injury though. Woody, however, started at QB last year against Rockwood and is a good quarterback. Probably a better thrower than O'Toole but maybe not as strong.

1st game of the season is always hard to predict...not sure what each team has. They are both new in some places, and just wanna go out and prove themselfs. With this being a Rockwood home game, im sure Rockwood will come out and show Midway what they got. Rockwood 26-6 is what I say. Just a prediction, not sure what Midway has so they could prove me wrong.

Yes, Midway beat Sweetwater but only after Sweetwater put their Freshmen in against Midway's 1st team.
