Runthe800
You may have a point but the discussion of this thread concerns our region not the state championship.. 825340999[/snapback] That's right and who ever created this thread should have put Boys Region 3 AAA Individual Champ. p9morbid
to win all you gotta do is just follow this fomula: go out with the pack, if it's 4:30 or if it's 6:00. You want to "be there" in the final mile that's your main goal. If you don't kick well, put a 1000m surge on the pack at the 2 mile mark and make sure you get some distance between yourself and the people who can/will kick like crazy. If you can kick, just chill -- with 800m to go finish them all off. The number 1 most important thing to remember about racing is COMPETE. Don't think of a race like you're running against the clock, you want to actually RACE the other runners. Compete with them and your competitiveness will pull you through the last mile of the race. Don't run unnecessarily hard for no reason, you just want to be in the hunt when it's time to see who's a man and who's a puss.
DiegoLunaIsMyPersonalHottie
you didn't let him beat you in track either did you? track's a different sport I will predict the winner of the state meet will run 15:15 or maybe a wee bit faster? IM GONNA GO WITH BILLINGSLY peg, i agree with ya on this one -- and he really deserves it, too.
