Whitwell will host Bledsoe County at 7 PM Friday Night. The Tigers (2-0) are coming off a huge 29-0 victory over Copper Basin in a game where many had picked the Cougars to come out on top. Bledsoe (0-2) lost to Sequatchie last week 32-7. How does everyone think this one will play out?

I agree Whitwell needs to stay focused I think Sequatchie County was caught looking ahead to this weeks game. They let Bledsoe score quick and the Indians found them only leading by 6 at the half but came out more focused in the second half and cruised to the win.

 

Bledsoe Co. has more size & speed than in years past on defense.

How many players does Whitwell have this year? It seems to me like they are on a slight up swing with talent. In the 90s they had absolutely no talent at all to speak of, but back in the 80s they had some talent to work with. Are they back somewhat or what?

Whitwell has 38 players this season. The talent level is up, but the coaching is the reason these boys are where they're at. Wes Green is one of the best coaches in the Chattanooga area. Especially considering what he has done to turn the program in Whitwell around.

I believe this game will be closer also. Bledsoe definitely has the size to push around teams, but the talent is short. Whitwell will need to throw the ball a little to be able to move the ball around, but I would have to go with Whitwell 26- 12.

If Whitwell can stop #1 for Bledsoe then they shut down the whole offense. If you don't stop him, it could be a long night for Whitwell. Good Luck 2 Bledsoe Co.

If Bledsoe only has one offensive weapon, then the Tiger defense should have a pretty good night. Whitwell will come out on top in this one and run their record to 3-0 heading into the game with Boyd-Buchanan.
