This don't make me mad, I think that it's funny! LOL

I believe we had more yards in penalites against us Friday night than Oakland.

Who  (colleges)is looking at #11 Luter, he is a player's player that's for sure!

I wish he would go to Western with my other boy<Johnathan Carter  :D . If those two were on the same team, I would definitely be getting to some of those games!

Yes last year Lincoln Cty had a tremendous team-and they beat us like a drum in Cookeville. The only problem was they were expected by everyone to win it all, but they choked in the playoffs.

LC played a good game and lost to a good Riverdale team in the playoffs. They did not choke, they got beat.

Really wasn't aware that " The Pit " had such a bad reputation ( officiating ) among the opposition. I have seen many games at ' The Pit " over the years and seen LC lose more times than you might expect. I think the fields reputation has had more to do with the quality teams that have played there more so than so kind of intimadation facture.

You just don't beat the Falcons in "The Pit."

Forget it.

This game won't be the exception... Although Cookeville is obviously doing some things right to have such a good record, I'll take the Falcons...

Oh so you just don't beat Lincoln County at the "Pit". Tell that to Riverdale 49 points later. Sorry had to throw that in there. Anyways, quick question for the Lincoln County fans. I have not seen you guys play this year, didn't get to make it to the game early this year. Is your defense that good, and your offense that bad?? You seem to have a lot of low scoring games. I think LC wins this game because against a team that is probably similar in talent to them, the "Pit" will make the difference. Anyways just interested to hear back from some of you LC fans. You guys always seem to have two ok years, then one great year every three year span so I expect 2006 will be the year you guys challenge for the state again.

    • Who’s going to lead the pirates offense this year?
    • Pickett is good, may have a Mr. Football like season if he’s used correctly. One of the best teams Marion has fielded in a while. I think they go 12-1 and loose to ER.  ER has better players at almost every position. If they play discipline this year, they win soundly. If they don’t though…Marion could sneak away with it.
    • I’m betting the house on the Indians. Pickett and Co will be the only team to challenge the Indians in the East. Huntingdon can in the West. I think Brooks goes 15-0 and has the first perfect season and state championship in ER history.
    • Sounds like a great opportunity has opened up for the football team.  With the head coach of the diamond rebels making it official and quitting this week, there should be some room for the gridiron guys to benefit. I assume the administration won’t continue paying six figures to two former coach that quit to continue teaching drivers Ed. Thats pretty good money that could be redirected toward the football program. Also, with the more recent policies of pushing kids to only play one sport, abolishing the baseball program altogether would help on Friday nights in the fall. There is some decent speed on that baseball team that should’ve been playing on Fridays IMO. I’m not sure if anybody would really miss that baseball program anyway with it being across town from the school. The liability of letting players actually use the facilities could also be mitigated with closing the program. That liability seems to be a really big issue for 825. Anyway, it seems like a great opportunity is available.
    • Yeah, I read about their spring blue/gray scrimmage after I typed that.   Sounds like a real mess over there.  I just hate that for 'em.  Haw
