Hutchison beat Briarcrest 6-1 to set up a D2W region championship game with St. Agnes who took out St. Mary's 2-1.

 

St. Mary's will play Briarcrest Thursday at 5:30 pm, the winner advancing to the State tournament as the region's third place team.

 

Hutchison and St. Agnes will play for the region championship Thursday at 7:30. Three weeks ago the teams played to a 1-1 draw.

 

All matches played at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex.

In the Middle Region it was:

JP II-2 BGA 1 (JPII scores winning goal with 30 seconds left)

In the east, Notre Dame is going to state with a 1-0 win over GPS, along with Baylor who had a 6-0 win over Knox Webb.

 

Also, Baylor and Notre Dame played for region finals tonight. Baylor gained another region championship with a 3-1 win.

 

Who knows what will happen in state!?

Father Ryan defeated John Paul II 4-0 to win the Middle Region Championship and get the #1 seed in that region for the upcoming state Tournament. No word on who won the 3rd place match between BA and BGA
