well concidering that we were suppossed to finish 6th out of 7 teams thats not to bad. We have locked up a spot in the playoffs, even though at the beginning of the season we werent suppossed to make it. well....got anything to say about that?

yeah, still remember week 1? yes youre linebackers are probably pretty decent, but they are nowhere near the talents of blake mcdade and kyler burke...and there are many people not just from ooltewah who say this all the time

All you smaller schools come watch Tomar Butler from Riverdale play in the playoffs and you will see the best junior linebacker.

Just how good is that Lawhon kid from maryville?? i heard he is alsome makin every tackle his way. Ive heard he has preety good speed to like a high 46 or sumthin, but bad news came this year and he got sidelined with a knee injury, how good will he be next year with his SR season what college could he pull out of it?

Yeah, see in that game DeWayne Caldwell rushed 31 times for 241 yards. Where were your linebackers when DC was racking up 7.8 yards per carry? Actually, I'll give you the exact numbers. Here are the tackle breakdowns for all 4 players in question for this game in Week 1...Ooltewah vs. East Ridge

 

For Ooltewah:

#32 Kyler Burke: 12 tackles, 3 tackles for loss for 26 yards, 1 sack for 10 yards

 

#40 Blake McDade: 11 tackles, 1 interception returned for 24 yards

 

For East Ridge:

#30 Jon Jones: 6 tackles, 1 tackle for loss for 3 yards

 

#44 Jon Viar: 3 tackles, 1 tackles for loss for 4 yards.

Lawhon is a great player. He is a head hunter and will absolutely kill an oncoming ball carrier, he will lead a Maryville LB corp. that should be very good next year.
