5A State Championship Predictions?

The west has had the favorite for years but the last two have come from the east. They weren't sleepers but a team like Brentwood, Franklin, Germantown, or collierville could get hot at the right time

Collierville usually has at least one good upset in them each year. Last year they shocked Gallatin.

Gallatin usually chokes in the playoffs. They are always hyped up and then they lose to a 6-4 team in the first round

I like Houston to come out of the West. I just think with all that competition down there between Germantown, Houston, Bolton, Collierville, etc, that it will pay off. Of course, Riverdale out of the East. I don't really think anyone can compete with Riverdale. Ooltewah, DB, and Oak Ridge all have great teams, though. Too bad.

Last year Gallatin would have made it, but they played an illegal player all year and had to forfiet almost all their games. In 2002, they were 11-0 or 12-0 and lost to Franklin in either the second round or the quarterfinals.

Year after year they are 9-1 or 10-0 and just don't make it. I know about the illegal player but they still made it to the playoffs. Why weren't they as good

doesnt matter, gallatin has a tradition of winning and winning a lot, gallatin isnt chokers. be careful what you say, the same could be said about riverdale the past few years but i wont go there
