what are some thoughts for this game. we came out against creekwood wanting the W. defense played a heck of a game. Offense was clickin. #22 lyle ran all over them. But what are ur thoughts for this game. Good game to creekwood too. thumb

Pats have senior night...2nd place is on the line. Coach P and gang will have them ready. MC is much better this year but the Pats will take the victory. No offense, but if Herndon didn't run all over us I don't think #22 will.

Best wishes to both teams Friday. It will be a great game. Montgomery Central is a much better team and can make the plays, but if MC doesn't watch out for the "wrinkle" that Page has spreading the defense out, McMurray will make it a long night for Montgomery. Just as slowing down Herndon worked for Page in keeping our score close, MC would need to keep a close rein on McMurray. With that said, MC will have a tough game ahead of them being at Page.

Won't even try to predict a winner since I have done so poorly this year. But, I would think that Page SHOULD win.

 

However, this game has huge playoff implications. With both teams having already clinched the playoffs, this is all about seeding. If Montgomery Central can pull what I would consider an "upset", then they would probably finish 2d in the region if Greenbrier beats Marshall Co. They would get the overall record tie-breaker with a three-way tie (all three teams beat each other).

 

However, if Page wins, they secure at least 2d place.

I say Page is a little much for Central, but I hope they will prove me wrong again.

Central just seems to not give up at all, except for the good ole country butt whupin that Greenbrier put on us. What type of passing team is Page?

MCBASEBALL .... Page doesnt have an air attack. They only threw the ball on us (Greenbrier) 4 or 5 times, and only completed one. They will mainly run Mcmurray right at you. Thats exactly what Greenbrier did to Montgomery Central. Page , last year, after coming off of a loss to the Bobcats put up around 70 points on the board . So I expect it to be a long night for the Indians.

It's hard for me to get a read on MC. They seem really weak at Greenbrier and then must have had an impressive game at Creekwood. I agree with FatCat, Page should win but at this point in the year..... who knows.

Big props to #22 at central, i talked to a cw coach yesterday and he said that he was probably the 2nd best rb they have seen this year behind a great youg athlete in Golden Tate from jpII ( he thought herndon didn do much on them). Central impressed me friday, but was some of their energy from Homecoming hype? Should be a good game i heard page lost a lot of seniors last year. Im pullin for central bc they have to beat page for cw to get to the playoffs. Go Central
