Do the words spoken over COACHT fire players up ?

When a team is being ragged on over coacht, does it not just give them fuel to burn off of when they are down by 2 in the 4th quater??? If so let the talking begin!!

I don't think it does. If it does, thats sort of akward because why get pumped over something someone you don't even know said. The only way I get pumped up is when the opposing team is talking trash and the crowd is roaring.

I'm a player and I reply on message boards. It doesn't affect my play, though. I just like to talk about high school sports.

the only way the boards would get you pumped up is if a player from ur rival is on here talking trash about you.

Well these boards are not for pumping players up...they are for discussing the teams and players around the state...But when trash is being talked on here...I know some players wanna prove some people wrong...

I think if enough is said it pumps them up. like a whole topic can get someone upset but not specifically coacht. usually if someone doubts them on coacht then the doubt will be anywhere.

Ill tell ya, im a player and it gets me buck wild....I love talking trash and the place to do it is on here. Especially if your own team is gettin dogged by abunch of people. It makes me wanna get out there and kick whoever's butt and prove a point to all thats out there ......and I like talking sports to see what other people think about other schools and players.

I am the King of trash-talking and psychological warfare. I have used this method to counter a lack of size and other disadvantages I may have. If you don't believe me, ask all of the unaka people that email coacht to get me thrown off this site! People that go toe to toe with me on here are mentally stretched and emailing the administration is their only escape. Players and coaches do read this board and it does affect them on the field of play. There have been fights, loss of friendships, among other crazy things because of heated debates on this board. the only time it really backfired on me, was the night we played CAK. I talked so much trash, that it only fueled them to an upset of top ranked Cloudland. After the game, they were chanting my name, saying where is the King now? I was standing in the middle of them with my blacktoothed grin and they didn't even know it. Football is so much more mental than physical. How else can a 170 lb. player whip a 270 lb. player on the line of scrimmage. There is a difference in being a 170 lb. devil and a 270 lb. momma's boy. My friends, I am the King! On the field of play, I remain supreme!

A lot of the people that post bad things about other players are just fans and dont realy know what they are talking about... IDIOTS that talk bad about the kids, and when a player logs on and sees the bad things being said about him i believe it brings there confidents levels down some.... but for others it gives them an AMAZING adrenaline boost...

im a player and yes in a way it can get you pumped.....i love it when people say that my team will not do anything this season....when i know we can.....it makes me play harder to prove someone wrong
