Billy, if I thought it would help you, I would type it slower. First, yes, I do think that we will win this weeks game. Is there a problem with thinking that your team will win? Trousdale County has been here before. LA is, quite honestly, new at this. They have yet to accept the loss that they had earlier this year to Smith County as a fair loss. All that we have heard is excuse after excuse. That is a part of the immaturity that comes with not being accustomed to a winning program. I did not, nor will I say that the game this week would be a blowout. I said "a hard-fought game". Nothing was said about 'no problem'. You are making stuff up.

 

Second, I did not say that Portland would be 'no problem' either. We played the worst game we could have possibly played against Portland earlier this year. After watching BOTH teams play since that time, I can honestly say that as of last week, we are playing better ball. I also feel that we can win the game from the coaching standpoint too. They have beaten us TWO times in four years I think. NEVER in a playoff game and NEVER twice in one season. I will take those odds anyday.

 

Finally, I did not even say that Smith County would win this week, much less next week. I gave my opinion on what would happen the following week EITHER way. I simply said that I would not bet against Smith County at home. I never said we would lose to them or that anyone else would either. I just think that they are one of the toughest teams to play at home in this region. How has your team faired there?

 

You really need to take a breath and read things through before you come out with both guns blazing like that. You were wrong about almost everything that you said I said. At the end of the day, this is still a child's game, you need to remember that. Once again, good luck to all of our region teams.

Trousdale hasn't accepted the earlier loss to LA @ trousdale. Bye the way, LA is not NEW to the playoffs. I think they have missed the playoffs 2 time in the past 10 years or something and last year LA was 7-3 and missed the playoffs. That is the TSSAA's fault for letting in 1-9 teams and not 7-3. But hey, it has been a fun region. Just because LA hasn't won state championships back in the day dosen't mean nothing. That was then and this is now, NEW players at LA and they are ready to exterminate the yellerjackets. GO HOG-EYE!!!

Since you are using one game to prove that point, then you will also agree that Smith County has a better team than yours since they beat LA. Face it, these four teams are as close in talent as they could possibly be. It is anybodys game. I look forward to a safe, clean, and injury free game. Good luck to whomever wins it, I would love to see this side of the bracket win next week regardless of who it is.
