Gomab....have you heard anything about Alan North out of JCS?

Alan North is an unbelievable shooter and can take over a game when he is feeling it. Sometimes he takes what many would consider ill-advised shots but in the Eagles system he fits very well. He has always had a huge supporting cast and many considered him, although I wasn't one of them, the second best player in his own backcourt last year. Expect him to put up some big numbers this season when its finally his show. I saw him a couple of weeks ago and he looks like he has put on a little muscle in the off-season. For him to be a serious contender though JCS has to make it to the state playoffs, something that nobody from that Region has done in a while.

lander33 your right he couldn't beat unaka and he still couldn't - because he never played 1 on 5 against unaka- usually teams lose to other teams- not people to teams- oh and unaka lost to temple earlier in the season and yes Unaka did win the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP so you need to get another brain cell!

gomab, I've seen Jeremy Wilson of South Fulton play for years. The kid has got some skills, but Mr. Basketball?

 

I think the North kid from JCS or Tony Tyler from Lake Co. should be on this list before him.

I saw Puckett play yesterday, he wasn't at the top of his game(I hope). He seems very athletic, but his shooting ability beyond 15ft is very rusty. It must be nice playing against all that Single A competition every night. Those guys can make anyone look good. He had about 10 pts in a 6 qtr live scrimmage. It will definitely be a one man show in McEwen.
