first of all, hixson is better than you think. did you go to the game zander??? well, the game was kind of a mismatch. when hixson's starters were in at the beginning, ool.'s were benched, then when ool's starters came in, hixson's took a breather, but finally when the ool starters and hixson starters were both in, hixson had the edge (at least that is what my sources have informed me). mnewballer... any take???

as far as anyone has told me, and these are sources from a couple different schools, ooltewah's starters were quite a bit better than hixson's its just they didn't get to play much in this game...guess we'll see as the season comes

Hixson definately played well and Ooltewah wasn't in it for one quarter. I mnewballer is right we will have to wait for the season to find out.

 

How bout Ooltewah's first game against Notre Dame next week. Notre Dame fell horribly to Howard last night 36-4. How will this game go?

Notre Dame doesn't have any of their starters due to their football success and if they lose Friday they will all be out there from what I understand.

 

Nokona, the Ooltewah and Brainerd game at the Nest will be on Tuesday, January 18.

 

Anyways I am just ready to get the season started next Thursday at the Nest against Notre Dame.

thanks bleeder! that kind of stinks... hixson soddy is on the same night. so it looks like coach t will be hot around that night. brainerd ool. and hixson soddy games on the same night. one is a big district game, the latter for bragging rights and rivalry match up.
