I didn't see the game but I can tell you that #33 for Jackson County is a heck of a player and he's only a sophmore so there is a lot of time for him to get better. So why don't you stop acting cowardly by beating up individual players, say your team got a nice win over a smaller school and move on.

I've been a fan of 7A basketball for awhile now but live in Chattanooga. How's the district looking from top to bottom? Who are the players? Predictions? thanks

Jackson County does have home court advantage but I see RBS squeaking by. It will not be a blowout by any means. You can write that down.

I would go quite that far.... Just kidding, where is he though he has been surprisingly absent from this thread. Guess I'll have to harass him when I see him this week.

This is a huge win for Jackson County although I can honestly say I'm not that suprised by it. As for the person who said Jackson County will choke come tournament time I believe they got second in the distric last year and had a chance to go to State. Where was Pickett County? At home that is where.

Pickett will be tough for sure but I wouldn't write off Jackson County as Distric Champs just yet...

I don't know about this. May be a down year for Jackson County and when I say that I see them finishing a close third. That's a great program though when that's considered a down year.

Big district matchup Friday between JC and Pickett County. Who comes out with the win?

Grace and Temple have some barn burners for sure but, I think there are better rivalries out there, rivalries with more history.

I don't know anything about it other than what has been circulating on here and from what has been said here is that Joey is leaving because he wants better opportunities. I'm not saying that he shouldn't or that's a bad thing I'm just saying that he is jumping off the ship that is Temple athletics.

That depends on if the Skogen's jump ship or not.

Just catching up on all of this and...WOW. If the Skogens jump ship it will have a negative impact on Temple. Now I'm not saying they will be forever devastated but that is a big blow. I just want some definate answers...aahhh.

I agree I've watched them for a little while and it seems the Coach subs in and out all the time. Now maybe there is a good logic or strategy behind this. Devilfanatic can you help us out with the question?

How does Clay County look this year? Who is their starting line up? Will they be able to come back after losing all that talent?

With Pickett returning a lot of talent I have them winning this one but its still early in the year so who knows.

Its a littler early to decide now although it is fun discussing it. I'm not sure who's the best player right in Single A right now is. It could be Skogan but I think some people are hyping him up a bit too much.

This has gotten big mess written all over it.

Clay will be ready to play for sure. The've been waiting three years for this chance and they are going to make the most of it. These boys don't know how to lose the Temple game showed us that, all heart. Clay fans will be there in force on Wed. trust me. Go DAWGS!

Storming the court is acceptable as long as you don't do it too often because then it becomes too mundane or commonplace. Court rushing should only be saved for those rarest of rare occasions. I've been in a few court stormings and nobody ever got hurt. I was at the Clay storming and everybody got out fine, oh I was also one of the first 20 onto the court when TN beat FL at home. That was by far a bigger storming than I have ever seen at the high school level and nobody got hurt. I think the fans storming just need to realize that when they get out there they don't need to tackle any players or anybody a good hug around the neck and high fives should be plenty enough to show your support.

I don't know if its the best in state but Clay vs. Pitckett is sure fun to watch. They have been battling for the district and region championship the last few years now and I know games can get heated.

Sure Devilfanatic praises JC on and on and it might go over the top but hey he's a true fan. How many of you all have said that your team was a lock to win a game only to see them lose by one in OT? If you look at his prediction record for the season I'm betting its over 70%
