Who is the best running back in state?

First and foremost Gulmire from Oak Ridge is the the hardest running back in the state...and probably the best all around

 

Dewayne Caldwell is not to shabby from Ooltewah

 

Matt Peardon from Boyd-Buchanan is the hardest to tackle just ask FCS

 

Gaston Miller is pretty good

 

Jake Nunley is another

My point is that Troy Fleming rarely got to touch the ball in the tennessee offense and then goes out and dominates in the shrine game........

All of these guys mentioned are good...but Spencer Gulmire is the best.

My vote goes to Ricky Ladd at White House. He posted 226 yards against what was touted as one of the toughest defenses, Hillwood, Friday night. He's small but explosive. Hits the hole faster than anyone I've seen. Broke about three Hillwood defenders ankles on a run Friday. Thought for a second I was looking at Barry Sanders!!!!

Dustin Lindsey from alcoa is the best runningback ive seen all year even though maryville did a pretty good job against him. In the regular season he had 1377 and 28 TDs now in the playoffs so far he is up to 38 TDs and he is only a junior

I don't know if it is because he plays for Campbell County or what but Chris Johnson is one running back that people will know very well next year if you havent heard of him already. Ask anyone who has played against him and they will tell you how good this kid is. over 1300 yards and 17 td's. And owns every record at CC which i know didnt say much b4 but things have changed.

Roger Herndon from Greenbrier. Over 2,000 yards and 20-plus touchdowns. He is one of the best. It's hard to argue against Coker though, look where he is going to school next year.
