Andrew Southwood Unstoppable?

To say that a first year wrestler is the best in the entire state is just downright insulting to guys like Manson, Dunning, Cleveland, etc...who have been pouring their heart and soul into this sport since they were 5 years old. It doesn't sound like you really know a whole lot about wrestling yourself (lack of knowledge on the weight classes; fyi heaviest/ heavy weight is 275), so to make so bold a statement as proclaiming this guy to be the best in the east, when he is a first-year, really is going too far. The way you describe him, I have no doubt that he is tough, but please don't go making these kind of statements any more. If I have misinterpreted anything you said, I apologize in advance. It's just that when guys' friends (who don't know hardly anything about the sport) get on these forums and brag about them, well, that just bothers me.

Sounds like a good idea to me.  We could send Andrew and Garrett Karnowski they are 2 seniors this year.  I'm sure they wouldnt mind teaching those boys a few things.

Maybe they can help out or State Champ, State Finalist, Regional Finalist and the other young men who went to State last year.

i know andrew too and he is a force to be reckonded with. i went to a match they had earlier this year, it was a practice or soemthing, and he absolutely mauled the kid he wrestled, i thought he was going to break his back or something. i felt sorry for the guy he was getting abused so bad. Garrett Karnowski is another one to watch out for. he broke his wrist early last season and wasnt able to wrestle inthe end, but he was worked out like a mad man and has gotten massive. ive seen this kid in action as well, i wouldnt mess with him, he is a freak on the mat.

Are these guys legit? Or is this just someone trying to put targets on these guys heads?? I mean, i make it a point to know my sport, and know it very well, especially in the state of Tennessee, and I've never heard of either of these guys. I'm not saying that they aren't any good, but I am saying in no way can these guys be the best that this state has to offer.

Somedude says he doesn’t know the sport on some other post. I checked it out. He doesn't know weights or ages of these guys and when you challenge him on them he never replies.

From what I can tell he is a Maryville fan.

what are you smoking man, i know live right next to andrew and i know for a fact you couldnt beat him. he is a pretty strong kid and you probably being the punk that you are couldnt take him with one had tied behind his back. good try though
