Need suggestions for good playbook software.

My fellow coaches and I have a version of a "free" download football playbook software which is O.K. at best. What we need is an affordable program that does it all.....makes plays, prints depth charts, scouting charts,statistic sheets, etc. and keeps a running total of players stats for the season, career, yadayadayada. Thanks for any replies.

I have tried all of them and hate them!

 

I like to use MS-POWERPOINT or MS-PUBLISHER to make all of my playbooks. You can create all kinds of templates and store them anyway you like. Then cut and paste to create every play under the sun! Save your money and skip the software packages and use something that is already available at your school.

Possumcop... it will take you a few days to get used to making circles and squares and drawing lines, but once you get used to it you'll be making plays very quickly. Old computer geeks like me love it but some might feel threatened by the software. If you are savy on the computer and have any experience with either of these programs, you'll be in business in no time and you won't be limited by the design of some expensive football software programs.

Try TurboStats. It cost $129.95 with the live scorekeeping, automated playbook and simulator, and practice planner. I use the baseball version for my high school.
