If there is any team that wants to fill the 2 open slots please drop me a note via e-mail asap. The tournament is going to be on Dec 18, 2004 (Saturday). The tournament will be divided into 4 pools which would have contained 4 teams each but with the 2 teams missing 2 pools will only have 3 teams.

The tullahoma duals looks to be the region 5 runner-up tournament. The tournament contains most of the region 5 teams that will be fighting Franklin for the slots to go to Chattanooga.

It looks like the team to beat is Cookeville which is not a powerhouse but a very solid team with great kids spread throughout their line-up.

This was a great day of duals. Tullahoma did a great job of keeping things on schedule and the hospitality was great. The difference in points between the top three teams was no more than 3 points. Talk about a close group of teams. Cookeville's guys looked very intense and their level of wrestling was great. Congrats guys.

I wish I could have seen Tullahoma wrestle. These guys really are on a mission and are showing some major strength.

We were glad to have our heavy weight start to use moves. Adam Smotherman will definately be someone to look for by the end of the season.

This dual tournament was exactly what our young team needed to build confidence and finish the year strong. Kudos to Coach Miller and all his great support!!

I will now have to brag up the girls in the hospitality room. Now that mde my "gut" fell really good all day. Thanks to CAmilla Daniels, Cassy GRow, the Ropers, Ms. Aboulmouna (sp?), Jamie Knight and Ms. Brink (...and I hope your son's back gets better as hopefully my son's will with the upcoming showdown in early January; both teams gearing up for a strong future in wrestling). Missed the Clevelands this time around, but I guess they had a priority in Chattanooga this weekend. :(

Well run tournament & again,

Great food and hospitality!!

We'll be back again, soon!!

    • Never in my life have I seen a team in a scrimmage against their own defense look so lost and confused. The defense didn’t look much better, the coaching staff can’t keep their anger together, not only with the players but also with their other coaches. I feel awful for those players. None of them look like they wanted or should’ve been out there, but for the grown men on the sidelines acting like fools, it's just embarrassing to the Farragut name and reputation. I now see why they chose not to live stream this on their YouTube channel.
    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
