CoachT is wrong. Actual enrollment for classification purposes is in the lower 800's. The enrollment you're looking at includes the vocational center which by the way, bus loads of you Dragons come to everyday. Nice try though!

The numbers we display are from the day we set up the database using TSSAA numbers at that time. The TSSAA.org numbers are more current.

If A.C. went to 4a in football they would have to compete with the likes of Maryville, Central Powell, Halls, etc... which would by no means be an easier path to the play-offs.

 

In Basketball 3-A O.R., Clinton, Powell, Karns, etc... possible be a little easier but not significant.

 

The fact is their are no easy paths to advance in the play-offs or basketball tournaments. The competition is stiff regardless.

 

Now I have heard for years that A.C. has been less than honest about their enrollment.

I have also heard that Kerr does a pretty good job of encourageing good football players to come to A.C.

 

So I would suggest that Larry get busy recruiting some of those boys into that Voc. Program so he can improve his chanceson the football field.

Class 4A-region 3 , in fball is by far the hardest.. as well as Clintons classification in basketball .. they play the top teams in the state .. pretty much , minus Memphis, and Chat.

how are we full of crap? ; just cause some one had a question about the classification .. and was wondering if it was right.. ; we have nothing to brag about.. yet we went to state last year in bball.. right?
