Dresden ahead of Trenton?

How did Dresden get more votes than Trenton in single A? Trenton has already beaten them once and hasn't lost to a single A team yet.

Trenton should be ranked #1 or #2 in the state. I think that when they lost 3 in a row everyone seemed to get down on them. They should be ranked very high though.

The AP polls are never really all that good. Many of the voters have only seen teams from their area and therefore they vote for the teams that they know. They do not get to see the other teams in the state nor do they take the time to really look at those team's schedules, players, margins of victory, ect. They tend to look more at how many games they have won then who those games were played against. So, I wouldn't take the AP poll all that seriously.

The polls top 4 in my opinion should have been: 1. Trenton 2. Gleason 3.Dresden

Dca is a good team, but i believe any of the top 3 teams could beat them, matter of fact i heard at a play day in nashville dresden beat dca

dresden has a very very good team,and just might make it to the boro,but better than peabody,i dont think so. you would think peabody might get some respect after the run they have had the past few seasons.im def. not a peabody fan but i think they deserve to be ranked higher than dresden.

Dresden did beat DCA in camp this summer. Is there a possibility that all three teams from west TN can make it to murfreesboro? Or will one have to eliminate another to go?

No, all these teams are in the same region, including South Fulton who beat gleason and the #1 ranked aa obion county girls. This region is by far the toughest in the state. just two will make it out of the four possibly five teams that could go to the boro and make some noise.

I agree this region is brutal and next year when they combine them into one district and add Union City there will be a dog fight just to get out of the district tournament. Until Dresden beats Peabody or Gleason they will always be third best in West TN.

2 out of the past three years dresden has been to sub-state not bad for the third best team in west tn, but if your speaking of right now this year, you're right to be the man you have to beat the man. polls don't matter now anyway, if they did peabody wouyld be #1.
