Calling All MBA Fans

I have witnessed first hand in many instances where BA does in fact put sports ahead of academics.  Maybe not in every instance, but in too many!  I will not give names, situations or circumstances because that would not be right.  There is nothing you can say to convince me otherwise because I have experienced it first hand.  I am not flipping out about MBA basketball, I don't even go there, just stating the facts.  I am sure you are probably right about the MBA football fans, I just haven't noticed that as much because I follow the basketball post more.

As a culture we put too much emphasis on sports. However, unless you

have spent time at BA as a student or have kids in the school and/or

athletic program, then you most likely do not have enough information

or perspective to make a value judgment about the school. Pick any school

in this city and/or state and you will find exceptions to the rule. It's also way

to easy to make accusations on an anonymous message board.

 

By the way, Itzme's earlier comment was most likely with tongue firmly in

cheek. I don't recall him taking malicious shots at MBA or any school.

 

Since this thread has drifted far from Opperman's original purpose, I would

hope the mod's lock it if it continues down the wrong path.

Have a sense of humor, bballfan01! You can go back and read many of my posts that are very complimentary and sincere about MBA. Learn to take a joke...an important skill in life.
