Harpeth vs. Waverly

nice tcross. all joking aside the past is the past and whatever happens this year is what we should be talkin about. The original post was harpeth vs. Wavely. Waverly by 10 tonight with ralston have 25 with 2-3 slams and i see the leonard kid 4 or 5 threes tonight. Should be a good one wish i could see it.

I want to say sorry to all the Waverly fans for taking away from yalls thread. I cant help it other people always have to make references to Sycamore. But i think Waverly is going to beat Harpeth tonight but im not sure by how much, good luck.

Give me a score dude. I can read that the Lady Indians beat your tigerettes 62-29. I also read where Cheatham Co. beat Sycamore by 2 in their game. I just want to see if all the Cheatham County teams are all playing for second is all.

Ok, I'll do it. Waverly beats Harpeth 82-76 after having a 16 point lead at the end of 3Q. RD hits for 24, Rico had 15 and one of the Reids 20. Anybody got a first hand report on this 6 point blowout?

A few details.....Waverly and Harpeth played a good game tonight. Waverly jumped out early behind the hot shooting of J. Leonard and C Reid. Ricco sits most of the 2nd quarter with 2 fouls. Waverly was close to blowing this game out on a couple of occasions but Harpeth fought back. Harpeth scored 34 points in the fourth quarter with a press which gave Waverly trouble. Hats off to Harpeth; they have a good squad. Do hate to complain about the refs, BUT.....some unbelievable calls / no calls also tightened this game. I wish the refs would review the game tapes as a group and learn from their mistakes. Its a tough job to officiate a fast paced game like tonights but they could do better.

Like previous post said, a win is a win. Good game to watch and some good players were on the floor tonight for both teams. The loss eliminated Harpeth from the regular season district race. Waverly plays a hot Dickson team tommorrow night.
