im just saying, you said that they werent even, i think they are very evenly matched. I know that Oakland has about 4 less losses but Riverdale has played more games and a much tougher schedule. Just look at the coacht SOS. I think they last timed these two teams played it was very apparent that they were very evenly matched. I think these 2 teams are about as evenly matched as it gets.

well apparently the tough schedule hasnt done too much for riverdale in district play. riverdale may have better depth, but from 1-6 its so obvious oakland is better. oakland is at least 10-14 pts better than riverdale, no whether that becomes the final margin tonight, i have no clue

mmm, i disagree, i think Oaklands starting 5 is a tad bit better than Riverdales but im positive they dont have 6th man who is better than our #9 guy. Andrew Barrett, Jesse Mayfield, Scott Thomas, and Tee Burnett are all better than any 6th man Oakland can put on the floor. I'm just trying to be honest. See admitted about the 5 and i also am speaking the truth about the bench too.

ane people keep on trying to use the depth excuse to pick against us. memo to everybody else: depth can be overrated, good teams with less depth will find ways to win

a tad bit better? come on now. you guys dont have a player on your team period that can take over a game like adareus or devin. ill give ya smith and maybe denney, but oakland starting 5 is more than a "tad bit better" than riverdale's. dont forget the big coaching advantage oakland has too. im glad you guys think your playing well, but last i checked, a blowout win over warren co doesnt constitute as playing well.

the oakland that you saw the first time is no more. no more do we just skate by and look dumnfounded as we encounter close game after close game. siegel was our wake up call as a team and oakland is very close to reeling off one those 10+ game winning streaks

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
