Willie Kemp didnt score last nite.

I was reading www.jacksonsun.com and I saw that Bolivar played South Side last nite. When I was reading the box scores I noticed that I didnt see Willie Kemp's name mentioned. I thought maybe he was sick or didnt play. I then went on to read about the game and it says he was held scoreless. Can someone PLEASE tell me how this happened? I know that a Mr. Basketball candidate cant play a whole game and not score.

puzzled me too. i thought he didnt play but guess i was wrong.

Everyone has a bad night...they are human beings...maybe it was just an off night...I mean there are NBA All-Stars who have seen games without points or very few...so it shouldnt be that shocking...

Willie kemp did not play but about 45 seconds of the second half against southside because he got hurt on a rebound and he didn't play most of the second quarter because he had two fouls. He may not play tonight against mcnairy. This was a called in score and the jackson sun was told he did not play the second half.

      I have no clue if Derek tried to talk some since into his dad or not about staying here. All he is going to accomplish is going from the oven to the frying pan. If I were the coach all Ale would freze over before I set back and watched one of my good players leave without a fight.

      If this is true, South Gibson is taking a big chance. Passing on an experienced coach for a guy who has never coached at the high school level is a high risk move, especially in that district and region.

      Jo Byrns was a very solid team last year. Imo, I thought they presented the biggest challenge for us on our path to winning it all last year. I expect them to be in the conversation and one of the final few teams playing in Murfreesboro

      I'm not sure you understand anything if you think DB's career and AD's career are comparable.  This is a terrible take.   Not to slight AD, He was a good player and he got better as he matured after high school.   But Desean had over 8,000 yards in HS and was a two-time Mr. Football.
