Youngest player to score 1000th point

Danielle Rector from Tennessee Temple scored her 1000th point tonight. She is just a sophomore. This has got to be one of the youngest players to hit that milestone.

 

She did play on varsity as an 8th grader so technically it is her third year.

 

Anyone know someone who scored their 1000th point during their sophomore year?

I think Emily Christian did so at Upperman. She also played varsity her 8th grade year.

I am not sure when Cait the Great scored her 1000 pt, but it was in her sophmore year and that was only her second year, she has now surpassed 2000 pts in her junior year. She has maintained a 20+pt average since she suited up for her first game as a freshman. Don't know if that is a record pace or not...but it is good.

 

No telling where she would be at if she were allowed to play as an 8th grader.

i think jonathan baxter scored his 1000th point as a freshman. he was unbelievable that year.

Bianca Thomas- Chester County - hit her 1000th point as sophomore. She is currently over 1600 as a junior. Did not play high school her 8th grade year.

 

Any player that hits 1000 pts in a career is an accomplishment! Congrats to all!!
