vandycomms2006
Heritage has at least 5 starters returning. Should be strong. WB and Bearden will challenge Farragut for the crown with Heritage, South Doyle, Maryville and Hertiage can finish anywhere from 3rd to 5th 825565433[/snapback] First of all, Heritage does not stand a chance to finish in the top 5. William Blount will probably end up finishing about 4th and Maryville right behind them. Bearden just lost their ace in Florida because he was caught with illegal substances, so he is off of the team for good and pretty much only the 1 through 5 hitters are consistently good at the dish and if you pitch against them long enough you can learn their tendencies at the plate and what they can and cannot hit. Farragut does not have much depth in their pitching staff but they will still end up 1 or 2 just because they are Farragut and they scare everyone to death whenever they play them. South Doyle has a line up full of strong hitters and a deep pitching staff. Holland and McClain will be the aces for SD this year and will probably pull them through to the the regionals. Chad Bell is also a strong starting pitcher, he is a sophomore, isn't overpowering when he throws but he gets people out. He will be a big help to the Cherokees this year. The 'Kees will be a definite threat to ANY team in the district or region this year. Edited March 30, 2005 by vandycomms2006
