Good to here from you FCJ. if you have not heard of Emmanuel Andrews its because he transfered from Detroit last year midway through the season. But if you show up at the James C. Haile You will leave there impressed with his balling skills. Since he has been at Liberty they have not lost a game in which he has played in!!!

You know BBR, your right. B) I never thought of it that way. But you are right. I am guessing though that this Haile Tourney could drum up some definite competition. We can only cross our fingers and see.

If you want to see a team that has up to four players who can lead in scores per game, come watch MLK Middle School Boys. On any given night, Nick Hill, Jaz Davis, David Sanders, or Justin Williams can lead in scores. Our leading scorer was hurt the third game of the year and is out for the season and these boys reallly "stood up". They don't score in the 30's each but on each night each one is going to give you 12 to 15 points.

Their defense is "bananas". They have beat some of Metros finest. If you have an opportunity, come to their tournament which starts February 3 and goes through the 10th at Croft Middle School located at the Grassmere Zoo (yes, their school is located at the Zoo).

i would have to say either malcolm or martin smith for the clarksville academy

cougars, 2 bros who are incredibly awesome. very dominate on the court one of the best in tn. martin has a very awsome shot, malcolm loves the 3-5 position loves to drive and shoot and the low post.

Drey Mercer from Linden. This kid is in seventh grade and he can score the ball anywhere on the floor and has amazing speed. Good FT shooter and dominant inside and shoots the 3 ball well.

He is extremely fast and linden had 1 team play them man for most of the game and that game he had 32 points . He is great in th open court and can jump very good

How good was the team he scored 32 points in? That kid is the best on his team but he isn't THE best.

    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
    • This whole situation is bonkers. You don’t just kick your star player off the team just because you heard them say the F word; the coach definitely had something against the player, or somebody definitely did. Also, nobody has brought up the idea that the school blackmailed the college to get the college to withdraw the scholarship offer, not to mention that the coach who kicked her off is no longer even with the program; they were fired. I think this is a pretty easy lawsuit. I don’t know if she should deserve that much money, but I think she should get enough money for a full-ride scholarship if she cannot get one after this situation.
    • Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.
