leadoff hitters get on base and he rarely strikes out and his oba is very high, ask anyone that has played with him before. he has above average speed and he gets great jumps on pitchers and cathcers. if you knew baseball, it's not so much about the speed on the bases, as it is knowing how to play the game. as i said before, i'm an area baseball fan and this kid knows how to play the game. i don't think central is in trouble on the aa level. they will not beat aaa schools and will beat most aa teams.

Season does not start until March 14th and all of you are already talking about how good freshmen are.

 

Let's wait until at least they have had a few at bats at varsity level and then bring this back up. Most of the time this discussion is usually a bunch of freshmen wanting everyone to tell everybody else how good they are before they have even taken a cut!
