CAK vs Bearden ?

I think that Bearden played a very good game. I think that they are very capable of going to state and doing well. CAK does have a very young team, and they basically started 2 subs. Bearden also did not have the refs on their side in the game, but both teams played very hard and it turned out to be an exciting game.

Yes. But I understand that he was only looked at by the nationals and never played for them. I could be wrong. All I can say is that the Bearden defense had him pretty frustrated by about half time. He transfered from West to CAK this semester.

Is Brandon even legal?? I thought the Tssaa had a rule you have to sit out a year after transfering in you area even when it is a public school to a private?

i know quite a bit abput that rule. yes brandon is legal because he didnt play the sport at west. if he had come over after the season had started he would have had to sit out a year. but since he came before the season started and wasnt on a TSSAA roster for west, he can play. and yea, he is on the national team.

Jorj, you are also wise beyond your years! Thanks for the clarification.

Twinkles, good to see you back on coach T. Hope things are going well. Stop by if you get a chance and see Big G Express. He says he misses you!

    • Yeah, we came up short. I remember we threw a ball over the middle to #5 Guymon? and he came up short of the sticks. Gave em he&& for a bit though.
    • Doe dee doe doe…..hmmmmmmm one of those players can run faster than my lawnmower when I put it in 5th gear turbo.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
