This isn't a comment but an action. The firstbaseman walks behind the baserunner and the baserunner scoops sand and throws on the firstbaseman is this class or lowclass. :)

I'd say that I would need more info to comment...

Were the two friends on different teams? Played against each other for years? Done in fun?

Or did they have a history of bad blood? Were tempers already flaring in the game/ Was the dirt directed at the 1B's feet or face?

I can see this going either was, but their are a bunch of variables to consider.

If this is the play I am thinking about, the runner does the same thing everytime he gets on base. He picks up some dirt in his hands after he gets his lead and kind of throws it between his legs right behind him. The first baseman walked right behind him as he was doing it. It was not at his face or in no way was it intentional. Maybe not the best habit to have but no way it was intentional. Let's stick to the funny sayings on this topic and not try to get anything started. If it was not the Huntingdon-Mckenzie game then my apologies to the poster, but I watched the same thing happen in that game.

Whoaaa there....just answering a question, not trying to get anything started.....sounds pretty innocent anyway.

"Hey bat let go of the kid" when you have a small hitter at the plate when the bat is bigger than he is.

Thought about this one at a Babe Ruth game the other night when a 13-year old that was about 4'6 and 65 lbs batted. Would have said it out loud, but was afraid someone would take it the wrong way and be offended. I did laugh for a while after thinking it, though.
