i think our game against grace could be better than both teams have thought...we started out ruff and now we are actually playing better..we have ooltewah tonite so we will see how that goes..we are just takin it one game at a time playing our butts off..and playing with some heart actually..so hopefully it will be a good game and stuff..we will see though..good luck to both of us..but we still have awhile before we play..

Boys, next week should be 2 wins if we play well.

Tuesday- Walker Valley

Thursday- McMinn Centrall

Opinions on the game?

while i do think if we play welel we can win both games i think we have to focus on each as a separte challenge. we must imporve ourselves through each game and i think we have been doin that. we played a good sevier county team and we were tied 1-1 at half and shots were even 5-5 with each having 3 on frame. it should be good to watch this weeks distric play...

i don't know about you boys, but i'm looking forward to the boyd game...isn't it for 1st in district?

not really sure... it'z a toss-up really cause IF we beat boyd and us and boyd and sweetwater only lose one game in the reg season in districts then there will be a 3 way tie up at the top... then it would go to tie breakers... and im not sure who tssaa does that stuff... anyone know about that?

Don't you have to beat WV to play Boyd for a three way tie? Don't count your chickens before they hatch.

 

The tie breaker goes to whoever has the best goal differential. I'm pretty sure you can only record up to a +3 or +5 I think. Someone double check for me.

      That’s a good line. Wins would be Soddy, Howard, and Ooltewah. Maybe East Ham again or Knox Central. Tyner maybe but being that late in the year it’s hard to say. I don’t think we get by Red Bank this year.    Rhea could be anywhere from 2-8 to 6-4.

      I agree with the Farragut and Bradley claim. Those will both be wins. Bearden like you say is depending on when you get them in comparison to when the wheels fall off.  As far as West goes I’m 50-50. They have been able to reload so far so until they show me they haven’t I can’t count them out.

      during the 2nd round of the playoffs last year against Milan, Gray partially tore his meniscus. He had a minor repair around Thanksgiving. Recovery time was minimal and he has been full force for baseball this season.

      Playing high school sports is a privilege not a right.  The college did not have to rescind the scholarship.  Scholarship offers are pulled all the time for a number of reasons. That was 100% their choice.  A coach can keep, cut, or dismiss any player that they want to without reason anytime they want.  Is that the right way to run a program?? I don't think that it is, but these are the facts of the matter. This case has absolutely 0% chance of going in the plaintiff's favor. Futhermore, I'd imagine that these administrators and the coach are a part of some teaching or coaching organization that will cover at least 1 million dollars each in legal fees. Obviously the kid and her family feel like there were "damages" thus the lawsuit.  Unfortunately, the law is not on their side in this case.
