A lot of your inner city Nashville and Memphis fans often act like they are hiding "a secret" when it comes to talking about their players.
Sometimes, in the past, when you'd play one of them in September or get a film of one of them from September and then you'd see them again in November you'd swear that they'd been hiding players in the broom closet and they just randomly released them to the athletic field of competition when it was convenient to do so.
The 2018 Stratford team that finished the regular season at 2-8 and then nearly reached the Blue Cross Bowl is the perfect example.
It's like that scene from the movie Wildcats where the players walk off of the practice field and Goldie Hawn tells them "there'll be a scrimmage tomorrow." The same premise was the message in Allen Iverson's famous "practice" rant from years ago.
