I've posted my playoff projections for all 6 classes on The Friday Main Event Facebook page.  I'll post a link below if you'd like to view them.   Obviously a great amount of guess work as many spots remain undecided.  In those cases, I tried to compare common opponents and speculate how the teams will finish.  No doubt I'll miss some, but many of them will be right.  I have first round matchups predicted.  The Home team is listed on top in each one.

I did this prior to last Friday, so if you guys see obvious mistakes due to unexpected results last Friday, let me know. Thanks

Milan will be the 2 seed in region 7 3A. They have already played Liberty Westview and Dyersburg. Their only region loss was to Liberty and they beat Westview and Dyersburg pretty good. South Gibson still has to play Liberty Milan and Dyersburg. They got destroyed by Westview last Friday and will more than likely loss their last 3. Even if they beat Milan (which they won't). Milan will probably have to lose another region game for anyone to finish ahead of them for second because of tie breakers.

BPM, I would be careful basing any of your future games on your Westview matchup, that was by far the worst Westview has played all year. Lots of good teams in this Region, no doubt about that.

After looking back, I agree. I've got Milan at 2 now.

BPM, I would be careful basing any of your future games on your Westview matchup, that was by far the worst Westview has played all year. Lots of good teams in this Region, no doubt about that.

As I stated in my post earlier I am basing my predictions off of several games between several teams. I agree that you can't just go off of what happened in one particular game.

      While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.

      TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.

      stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
