Also Tennessee AAU Girls Basketball information can be found on the newly formed site SEAAUsports.com and click the girls basketball icon. It is in it's infant stages but it will also be great when things get up and going.

New website for New Six Grade West Tn AAU Team Silver Foxes! This team has some real talent with size and speed. This is something that West Tn Teams for this age bracket as lacked. Hope to see good things out of this team!

aau where is the silver fox team based ? What is the website address?

It is my opinion that AAU Basketball is killing High School Spring Sports! If only the TSSAA would say that you cannot play AAU until after your school GRADUATES, then spring sports will survive. AAU does not truly allow student-athletes to be multi-sport stars!

Hey Mac, i was under the impression that YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PLAY if you dont want to. LOLOL, no one is forcing the kids to play. Its a choice, why dont ASA or any other softball sanctioning body care about girls arms. You can go pitch 12 games a weekend in fastpitch and no one governs the pitch count. So be careful what you ask for cause if you want some rules then all sports need them. You can truly play girls softball from February to December, so dont bring up AAU. Its a choice.

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
