There are certainly other issues which promote Middle School programs in the State. Schools who wind up with great athletic programs in the State find someway to get their programs well covered by the News Organiztions. If a Middle School is undefeated, no matter the sport, it is in the paper and described in detail. Players are given credit as well as coaches. Sometimes it appears that Middle School Coaches or News Organizations who cover those schools do a better job of understanding what motivates players or from a school point of view, know how to market their product that when they get to high school. Foootball, in this State needs very little marketing but every other sport needs a lot of help in marketing. Some of these coaches if not most do an exceptional job.
